TBE Instructors have:

Passion for the subject. 

TBE was started by a group of foreign businessmen with a long history
in Japan. We are native English speakers who have worked in Japan in
many fields and occupations.  Most of us also have some experience
teaching in Graduate Schools, Universities and language schools. With
backgrounds in business we realized the problems and inadequacies of
the English language teaching industry and in particular the lack of
opportunities to learn business English from instructors who have
actual business experience.

Some of the other inadequacies of the current system are:

Schools do not take advantage of our specific business experience.

We can`t build long-term relations with the Japanese companies and
business people we meet through traditional English schools.

Schools often act primarily as middlemen and charge their clients too much.

Schools often require an excessive amount of paperwork.  In
particular, most schools method of student evaluations are
self-serving. They are often used as sales tools and almost always
show that students have made progress after a course.

Most importantly, however, we all have a passion for teaching what we
know best.  We also know how to best teach our specialities.  We
develop our own material and use methods that we are confident give
our students/clients the best opportunities to master the subject. We
embarked on TBE to bring our expertise direct to business English
students and corporate clients.
